Frequently Asked Questions
Am I eligible to join TOSC?
Eligible spouses are defined as all active duty spouses, including mil to mil couple, widows or widowers of active duty spouses services members. Additionally active duty personnel, Civilian equivalents and their spouses; Contractors and their spouses; parents and siblings stationed with active duty members as dependents at the age of 18; widows or widowers of deceased U.S. military or civilian members who reside in the vicinity of Osan Air Base as long as their marital status remains unchanged; adult former spouses living in the Osan Air Base area who possess a valid identification card from the U.S. Armed Forces indicating the member is entitled to full benefits and privileges.
Why did the Osan Officer Spouses Club and the Enlisted Spouses Club join together?
The Osan Airbase spouse community is smaller than found at other bases. This is due in part to the type of assignment most servicemen and women receive for this base. Both clubs have previously worked separately toward similar goals of improving the community of this base. At the end of the 2013-14 year both clubs decided to come together as a single entity. We feel that a unified organization of spouses will allow us to provide a greater benefit to our community and each other.
How much are the membership fees?
Membership fees are based on a sliding scale. Some events, depending on their location, will include an additional fee for food. For example, if an event is a hosted dinner at the O’club you will also be required to purchase your meal at a set cost.
I’ve paid my membership dues, why do I need to pay for my meal at monthly socials?
Your dues are used to pay for event door prizes. Both the E’Club and the O’Club charge TOSC for meal prep service. TOSC cannot sustain monthly food costs.
